  • Moving on at work

Hi guys, I've just been told that I start a new job with the same organisation in the new year. I'm happy to be going and looking forward to the challenge.

I've been working with the same person pretty much every day for the last year, is it bad that I'm glad to be leaving him behind? [emoji23]

We get on ok, it has been pretty hard work though. 8/9 hours a day in a car for a year with the same person, it's time for a change.

Not at all, I've been working in the same office with the same guy for the past seven years. It's great when it comes to holiday time as I don't see him for 4 weeks
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!

I've been dong the same thing now for a while, so I'm hoping the change will be good.

Possibly, but my current shift plan is 7 days on then 3/4 off. It hasn't been the best for my home life so taking a chance on a Mon - Fri job.
