Just booked for my missus birthday and was wondering if anyone can recommend any cigar shops out there that I can visit. I'm staying quite near the Nou Camp if that helps

    Happy new year all

Tommy, there's a heap of info on the forum. Have a search, especially in the cigar travel section mate

There's two shops on las ramblas, one is genaros and the other is just a little tabac (there will be more, just what I can remember) if you go to the little tabac, there's some aged stuff in there (there's a box of RyJ I wish I bought while there). If in genaros, there's a downstairs [emoji6]

Gimenos is a nice shop on Les Rambles im told , wifey been not me , staff a bit sharp with her when she was asking questions , and then helpful when they realised she was serious in buying nice cigars

Went to Barcelona a couple of years ago and going back in April, can't wait. Gimenos is a great shop, try and get down to their basement walk-in humidor, if they think your going to buy at least a box they should take you down, but most customers probably don't know about it.

At the top of Las Ramblas is a big square, and beyond this is another very good shop apparently, I haven't been to it but will be searching it out come April, google the name.

Finally, I done a thread with info and photographs on Barcelona a couple of years ago, so check that out to see if it helps any.

Thanks for the info, I'm going in June for the Moto GP. I'm there for 4 days, depending on where we are staying I'll try to have a look round the recommendations.

Great info guys thank you so much. I can't believe the price for 5 monte 4s. And I believe I can take home 50 each person?

[MENTION=13445657]tommy_tucka[/MENTION] 50 is the limit from outside the EU.

There's no limit from EU countries, though Customs may ask questions if you've got over 200 cigars each.

                  Better buy a bigger humi!

I've only got a 50 and a 20 count so I'll have to be careful and not get excited [emoji854]

Just checked hotel location and it's literally on the same street as Gimenos. Now need to practice my surprised face when we accidentally on purpose walk past it on her birthday [emoji23]

It'll be a nice birthday surprise for your good lady if you treat her to a fine Cuban

Gents. Can I bring my cigars back in my hand luggage? When I've brought them back before that have always gone in my main luggage. But seeing as I'm only going for 2 nights I don't see the point in paying the extra.
