anyone use a stove top maker, the Italian style one?

I just got on and its great, granted it can only make 1 cup and it can be a pain to wash (especially when hot) but its the smoothest tastiest coffee i have had. And only takes a couple of mins to brew..

There?s different sizes, I?ve got a 1 cup but the 4 cup rarely gets used, that?s a lot of rocket fuel. I could use it to make lattes for the gf I suppose.

Tip for the stove tops from a barrister friend of mine. Fill the bottom chamber with freshly boiled water instead of cold. The pot gets up to temperature much quicker and ground coffee doesn't get so steamed in the process, which is undesirable, according to coffee geeks.

I used to work by Monmouth coffee. So was happy working my way through a variety at work and home. Filtered, black.

Now I work in the death Star and no facilities [emoji19] So I make do with Pret filter and a cup of ccino.

At home I've switched to Greek coffee. Cooked on stove or with a Greek style coffee maker. Very nice.

Bean to cup filter or Nespresso for me but never instant. I can remember an old movie where they used those stove top ones as cases for i.e.d.s.

Another vote for hasbean. I've got a subscription and it's always lovely coffee. First had there coffee at a cafe in Prague called cafe Jen. Best coffee I've ever had.

Just how much coffee do you drink?! I like Union Roast Coffee Company myself.

We go through around a kilo of beans a month. 2 litres of filter coffee most mornings and I like to have an espresso after lunch, especially with a pipe or cigar. Need to stop chucking the grounds down the sink and start chucking them on the borders...

We get through 1kg of beans too quickly, need a change from the usual supermarket pickups & remembered there was a recommendation for an online supplier somewhere in an old thread & after a little digging I found it & placed my 1st order with these guys. Thanks [MENTION=13443478]Horsebox[/MENTION]

Sorry Tommy, should have added that you can only buy like that from their shops. The big one up at borough market is well worth a visit. If you're up that way let me know - maybe a coffee/herf/beer could be arranged?
