Getting the band back together?

I know there's the charity event too, which is fantastic, but this gives us another excuse to smoke it up! I'll see what I can do - maybe a thread to see what suggestions we can brainstorm.
If the timing is right and spirit permits, I’m sure a Coro or two could attend...especially if some of the founding fathers are there - @Robusto, @stogiedog, @El Catador, to name a few.

I concur. I’m a member on many forums covering many subjects. All, bar this one, you have to ignore at least 25% of the content as it’s just pointless white noise.

    Me neither apparently Banos [emoji23]

Of all of the forums I've visited and been a part of over the years, over a multitude of different genres, this is by far the most upstanding group of people I've ever shared a corner of the internet with.

As a fairly new member of the community I'm looking forward to what's to come over the years as part of this amazing group.

    Keep up the good work!

joking aside ... gentlemen, and you are gentlemen, thank you for your company: online, in messages and through the post. I am yet to meet the pack, but sense that when the pack meets, the faces match the personas pretty well! I've learnt a lot, and hope I have managed to share a fraction back.

And Deano thank you for your deft touch... when I have strayed over a line however inadvertently you have been firm and fair - it sets the tone so well for the rest of us.

Indeed, some of us have been around since before thec acrimonious split, with various individuals trying to seduce loyal members over to the dark side. Still we survived & quietly plodvalong. Compared with other sites, wecare all gentlemen here & there is definitely more knowledge shared here than on the FB groups I am on. Congrat's to Deano, Mods & the rest!

Hear hear - this is by FAR the best forum out there. I feel like I'm part of a brotherhood. And I've been let in as a newbie - no quarrels. At first I thought another forum I'm a member off was a big thing, but it's full of Americans, and that often poses a challenge in discussions (I'm sorry to say).
Keep it up (@Deano) - and may we live forever

I'm a relative newbie, but have been made to feel very welcome and it has been really great to have the opportunity to physically meet up with some members at different herfs. If I had to think of one word to describe UKCF it's generosity. Have a good weekend all.

I'd agree with all that's been said on here and I must have made at least half a dozen new friends from being on here. Thanks Deano for saving my middle aged social life!

Perhaps we could tap up Robert to put on another evening at 1a where we pay for the refreshments this time. Is he still on here?
