I've had beards various over the years. My current goatee unit I grew last November for Charriddy (But I really don't like to talk about it)

Now if we are talking about a competition how about Deano putting up a couple of good stogies out of funds and everyone signing up for the Movember Charity: http://www.movember.com/, it raises money for men's cancer charity .

So how about it Deano? Person who raises most money get's the stogies??

It's a great web site, it's possible to create a group to see who has had the most sponsorship pledged and if you get over a certain amount of money you get to go to a party in central London.

I plan to shave off my current unit at the end of September to have a clean October and start again in Movember.

Who'se going to join me (or even better pledge me your support/sponsorship)!!

I keep a full beard for when I can't be bothered to shave!!! I used to have a goatee, I keep meaning to grow a mean/masculine tasche but i forget when i shave in the mornings lol

This might seem like a dumb thread and a bit "out there" but it's something that crossed my mind today.

Is there a link between smoking cigars and keeping a beard (of some sort)? I looked at my group of friends and the ones that smoke cigars sport some sort of facial hair...from designer stuble to a full out santa beard.

I tend to grow a beard in winter, think of it like my winter fur...so who on here keeps a beard and what for?
