OK, It's obvious that everyone on this site has a cigar fetish. We all love those brown sticks perhaps a little too much... but I was wondering how far this went? Do you just like smoking/collecting puros or does this extend to lighters, humidors, cutters, ashtrays, clothing, posters, art, etc? Has anyone named their first born Monte? or do you have the bird/wife dress like a Cohiba on birthdays?

For example I think I've got a thing for humidors now, always hunting for another fine piece to add to the small collection and whenever i'm traveling I make a point to visit a cigar store. i'm not too fussed about anything else as yet but what about you???

I love playing with and browsing all the accessories and bits of paraphernalia associated with smoking. However, I can't afford to take too much interest in buying them - how would I fund my other vices? (See my signature ).

Certainly getting into collecting. The special edition humidors etc, thats something I'll get every year now. Got a few lighters. Collecting all the bands in a jar now.

        Getting quite a habit!

I think that all the accessories come with the territory. You need cutters, lighters, humis etc. and the better heeled can (and do) tend to collect things related to the hobby. It's just like any other hobby. The only difference is that people try to ostracise us for using the devil weed!

Funny you say that Panto, I'm looking for an ashtray myself one of the habanos ones if i get it at a good price, got offered a crystal Opus X one the other day by a friend of a friend, nice item but a bit over my budget.

I'm going to post it in the for sale section for him later on.

I've got two of the smaller Havana Club ashtrays...

But what I really want is one of these...

I'd also like to try and get my hands on one of the Cohiba ashtrays that Cohiba Fan was after a little while back...!!!

                      Cheers, HabanoSy

Have been thinking of one of these personally. I like the idea of being able to light up anywhere, and not have to worry about what to do with the ash afterwards... just slide it closed and dispose of at an appropriate moment. Ideal for fellwalking.
