I smoke a stogie on my 45-minute drive to work EVERY DAY. Favo(u)ring long, fat 'gars (no need to be ashamed, Lee) which will sustain me for the drive home as well, I shove my big, thick stick into a tube and cap it immediately upon arrival. On the way home, my smoke awaits continuation, admittedly a trifle diminished in quality, yet satisfactory nonetheless with proper re-lighting.

Can i ask guys, being new to smoking cigars i sometimes find it difficult to finish one. Is it ok to say put it in a tube and relight it the following night, or will that ruin the cigar and the flavour?

I have no probs with leaving a cigar for a few hours if need be...then re-lighting it....
