I've been listening to the Kooks Inside in inside out, great album.

Also The Seahorses, the band John squire (of stone roses fame) formed after the roses. Some great tunes including Love is the law and Happiness is egg shaped.

I like this English Opera, one of the earliest sung in English [circa. 1689]. It's a tale of the Queen of Carthage [Dido] and a Trojan [Aeneas], separated and ultimately doomed by a Sorceress and her witches [i.e. a reference to Catholics].

A real early contender for album of the year imho.

Its good stuff, Im very pleasantly surprised. His other efforts like Slashs Snakepit freakin sucked.
