Yes! The sequel 'The Wise Man's Fear' is equally as incredible! Though the years and years of waiting for the third is a wonderful test of patience and memory, a bit like Mr Martin!Originally posted by Niela View PostThe Name of the Wind (Fantasy at its best)Only the impossible is worth the effort.

Yeah, I already finished that as well and hope that 7 years wait will mean that the next book can't be too far off!Originally posted by thedame007 View PostYes! They are turning this into a series and a movie btw.

I was thinking the same thing 2 years ago...Originally posted by Niela View PostYeah, I already finished that as well and hope that 7 years wait will mean that the next book can't be too far off!

What's worse is the release date just keeps getting changed - bloody tease!
Are they?! It will make a great series, though they better not get ahead of the author, thats why i have not watched GoTsOnly the impossible is worth the effort.

The series will be some sort of prequel to the books and the movie then takes on the stories of the books. So should work out fine...Originally posted by thedame007 View PostI was thinking the same thing 2 years ago...

Don't get me started on GoTs. Since the TV writers ran out of books to copy from the series has become such a pile of s***. They ruin the whole thing and G.R.R.Martin is likely to die before he ever finishes another book...

Do NOT even think that!Originally posted by Niela View PostG.R.R.Martin is likely to die before he ever finishes another book...

He needs to stop with the side projects, and finish what he started first! Sure 'Martin isn't our bitch', but damn it he does have a responsibility to his readership!

Yeah, I never even read those volumes. Jordan said that there was one more volume to be released to end the story. How many volumes did they publish after his death? 3 or more?Originally posted by thedame007 View PostOh god, then some relative will come along and bodge it 'because that's what they would have wanted' ... liar, you just wanted that extra house! Terry Pratchett has the right idea, getting it legally destroyed on his death to prevent posthumous releases that are subpar.Originally posted by gojira View PostYeah, I never even read those volumes.
