I'm reading the final installment in the Millenium series, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. I really enjoy these books. It's a shame there will be no more.

Going to resurrect this once again.

Just finished Asimov's Foundation Series, very good. Then a quick read - Neuromancer.

Now onto "The Illuminatus! Trilogy: The Eye in the Pyramid/The Golden Apple/Leviathan" which is a hard read!

David Allens "Getting Things Done", which constantly makes me feel like a twit for all the obvious things I could have been doing to get things done better...

The Foundation series of books are some of my all time favourites, science fiction has taken ideas from those stories so much.

I'm trying to decide what books to take with me on our one month holiday coming up in November, tough choice.

                I'm currently reading Castro's Secrets.

It is written by an American ex CIA officer so the language is a bit biased but it looks like Fidel gave the American's the real runaround with his intelligence service. They really underestimated him.

I think when I get to the end it will have been an interesting read but at the moment I'm struggling a bit.

What is surprising is the number of defectors to the U.S. from Cuba. Apparently Fidel takes each defection very personally.

@Getting things done: Yeah read that, though I usually steer away from those books, I did find it useful, along with the 7 Habits etc

I'm much the same with these books - find very few are practically useful, GTD has been useful pretty throughout the book.

Just finished Ender's Game which is a brilliant book - soon to have a film out too, despite it having been written a while ago.
