Do what I did and publish through KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing), it's free and if the work is 100% original you get 70% royalties. Also today traditional publishers scout for authors in the E-book market, 50 shades series and many of todays best sellers published via the internet before picking up contracts from trad publishing houses. Also remember a trad publisher will offer you as low as 2% royalties and the cash advance has to be paid back. Added to that they may print only 2,000 books that spend a short time on shelves before entering the bargin bin and you have to do your own marketing anyway!Originally posted by Bad-Yeti View PostNot reading as such but am currently working on writing 3 books, well actually 2 and a further trilogy......yeah not the wisest thing to do all at once, yet to see if I can get any of them published.
Publish via Amazon or B&N is my advice and if your book is worth anything to them they'll send you an offer, but if you're already making sales that puts you in the driving seat.
Let us know what you decide.
I've published a SCI-FI book here Click
Doing the work of editing and proof reading then formating for kindle is tough and you can pay people to do it. I did it all myself including the cover art so if there's anything you think I can help you with send me a PM if you decide to go the E-Book route.
Right now I'm writing the second part of what I hope will be a trilogy in my series, so in effect I'm reading it as well.FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS SMOKE NC'S!

Jerusalem - what an amazing book! Hard work initially and 650 pages but stunning. I have never read any other single book that gives such a great overview of the history of where we are at today. I would strongly recommend this book to all of the students of human/social/religious behaviour out there.Originally posted by Simon BolivarLittle medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these

Monkey, if you have further interest in the history of Jerusalem read 'The Jewish Wars' by Josephus. A truly staggering account of the sacking of Jerusalem by Rome in AD70.Originally posted by monkey66 View PostJerusalem - what an amazing book! Hard work initially and 650 pages but stunning. It is referenced in the book several times and used as a significant source for that period (the book covers 6000 years, give or take). There are some other amazing resources that have only been referenced in English for the first time in this book.Originally posted by mrcigar View PostMonkey, if you have further interest in the history of Jerusalem read 'The Jewish Wars' by Josephus. TBH this book has opened up so many fascinating periods in history for me I suspect one could have a life-time of reading if one desired.Originally posted by Simon BolivarLittle medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these
