Actually for long-term storage, you want consistency as much as you can get. The benefit is that the hygroscopic nature of cigars and boxes means as long as your container is relatively well sealed they will serve to additionally stabilize the humidity. Additionally temps above 70F creates the added risk of beetle infestation. As much as possible you want to keep the temps below that and the humidity consistent and below 70%.Originally posted by monkey66 View PostGot to agree with 'touch-down brings me back around to find' here. I think temperature and exact humidity control are overrated for mid-term storage. Sure for your desktop it is nice to keep a constant 65-68% but for storage a little variance is not the end of the world.

I've found it doesn't matter too much where the humidity is, but keeping it stable helps keep the burn even.

I have something similar to the fridge you were looking at. It works pretty well. Depends how hot it is here, I sometimes put the cooler on for 10-15 minutes, just to drop the temp back down inside, then switch it off. 5 mins later, the humidity is back up to 68%.
You can fit HEAPS in there.
I love the 7drawer though. Very flash!Attached FilessigpicFor Gallantry
