United States of Non Cubans

Good afternoon all.

Late yesterday afternoon i landed at what used to be known as McCoy Air Force Base, now known as Orlando International Airport, for a 17 day "vacation" in Orlando visiting my folks who spend six months of the year here.

As some of you may have read - i was recently made redundant and it was too late to cancel my trip / i haven't told the folks yet and as i had sent over a large chunk of money i had saved to be converted to $$$ i have decided that i am going to enjoy my time here and worry about work when i get back.

This holiday could go one of two ways - either i could be trying a plethora of new cigars and having a ball around Orlando with a stogie hanging out of my mouth - or it could be mainly stogieless.... we shall see. I plan to document anything i smoke in this thread and feel free to let me know your thoughts an anything i try or any of the places i visit if you have been there?

When i am out here i seldom to the tourist attractions as i did it as a child and so i tend to just chill, enjoy life, visit friends and the like so one of my highlights of the trip is the planned meeting of a UK representative of the UKCF and a US representative of the UKCF that happens to live in Florida. Yes i am talking about the devilishly handsome Rocket Scientist that is Rokkitsci...... I look forward to this and i shall report back to you if he is actually devilishly handsome and if the rumors are true that he does indeed smell like llama juice....

Sorry to multiple post but I just remembered that I took photos of the humidor, it's contents and their prices at the duty free at gatwick. I shall post up later when I'm on a computer!

If you get the chance lil' jimmy, have senor scientist point you in the direction of Ybor City - the once cigar capital of the world!

If you like being surrounding by some of the worlds finest n/c cigars, this is the place to be.

And the Cajun Food ain't too bad, either.

Stogieless? Not bloody likely as long as the rokkitsci is abouts.

No need to report back James, old intrepid traveller, the BOTL's need only put the magnifier to my avatar -- a true representation of your rokkit scientifical UKCF member, nary a photo in it shopped -- to verify for their own selfs.

And I won't be smelling of llama juice since milking season does not start until mid-June, depending on the zeta radiation phase shift.

Side note: I know I provided you my work and self own numbers; however, I don't know whether you have a phone capable of dialing United Statesian phones. In which case, you can always either PM me here or email me at rokkitsci -at- att -dot- net.
