Cohibas and sushi make the world go 'round!

Myself, I just got ready for the day and am about to tear up the town until I meet some of my girls later for dinner.

    whatcha doing?

Finished Reading over 500 pages of reports all saying the same thing (head is now fried). Managed to get to a cigar shop in Glasgow before they closed, good job as I had left my travel humidor at home. These babbies said try me so I had to do the right thing. Tin looks so much better in real life. Just enjoying some sushi as well while I'm on my own as the missus hates fish. Hopefully meeting up with lionhound later for drinks

The ticket for the gig in Edinburgh was 10 bob or 50p as it became!

When you think about it, I saw that gig for 2.5% of my dad's wage! Try seeing a gig nowadays for 2.5% of your wage!

The first time I saw Ten Years after was in Carnegie Hall in N Y City . A buddy of mine spiked my beer with LSD 25 and man what a show . There I was far from a virgin to 25 but totally unaware that this was going to be almost as good as seeing the Alman Brothers at the Gallic Park for 3 bucks . Can you imagine being that young and experiencing that much life . I was 13 then and living life on the edge LMAO.
Great show indeed and I nite I'll always cherish.
And now you know the rest of the story !

I remember going to my first gig in Edinburgh at the Usher Hall in 1969.

On the one bill was Ten Years After, Blodwin Pig and a band nobody had heard of called Stone the Crows.

    Ah, Maggie Bell!

    whatcha doing?

Went looking for a subway foot long but google maps lied to me so now ended up in a weatherspoons, pint of John Smiths in my hands waiting for a gourmet burger with all the extras to use up my food allowance before heading back to the hotel. Felt like treating myself after the crap journey I had and an hour in the gym today.

    Anyone up for invading Iceland?
