You are the luckiest guy I know! Looking forward to a snapshot of all your purchases when you get back. You going to write a report of your trip?

Enjoy Deano.. ithought you were allowed a 20 cigar single allowance, no receipt required on way out, just what i was led to believe but you could ask and stick em in a travel humi in hand baggage.

You lucky man. Went in Feb which renewed my love affair with cigars. Now trying to convince the other half that it would be a good idea to go again soon but she is not having any of it.

The allowance is 50 per person into the uk, which is what you must stick to.

If you want to up your allowances a bit more, I do know a certain ahem, Modster, that might (just might) be talked into being taken

It's 50 per person. Definitely. And if you get stopped you need the receipts. Definitely.

And in reply to where I'm going; Havana for four days at the Parque Central then the Iberostar Varadero for 10 days. A whole fortnight of Cuban cigar loving!!!

Sounds great Deano, hope to get there myself in the next year or so?

Pity the limit is only 2 boxes per person (so to speak), would you take the chance of buying more and just sticking them in your suitcase and hoping customs don't ask to see inside?

My parents have been 8 times now to Cuba and normally have 2 long haul holidays a year and have never been stopped at customs. They obviously look honest or perhaps they can tell a fellow free mason .......
