I can do that for sure Bryan no probs.
If i had come on here last year i would of put an invite up, there is normally plenty of room where i`m going and this year just going on my own but some friends are coming over from Crete so fully booked out, if you dont get to go over to Cuba this year your more than welcome to come and stop where i am!.There is room for 8 people at a push, only go with smokers though as the apartment is like smokey joe's haha.
Might see over this year if we can select a few to come, the flights are around ?300 return. So not too bad i think, compared to british airways that charge ?1200. See how things go though.

Just to check Bryan !! do you have high definition audio??? its what my audio is saved as, as i have a high definition sound and visual media system.

      Yes, I believe I do.
I'll be cautious, tho. No worries!

Is that a grass cutter you are driving in your profile pic?

Hi CohibaIV, you sure can!, depends how much you want to spend. I'm not one for wires either.
As far as i know Bang & Olufsen do a system for about 10,000, and Sound Solutions in Germany do an averge system for about 2,000. So it depends on what your after.
I got one from canada and had it played with so it would work with ease over here, thats about it.Are you looking for something inperticular or just finding out the now?.

I don't know if things are the same as they used to be with Bang and Olufsen, but the stuff is so reliable they didn't have a repairs department....it did mean though that the once in a blue moon that something did go wrong it could take months to get it fixed under warranty.

I've bought one that sends its signal wirelessly to the back two speakers. That saves on at least some cabling. I also wanted an unobtrusive system because I didn't want to be surrounded by helter skelters. I'm pleased it's a good system that hasn't knackered our front room with a silly look.

I used to have a out the box type system which was great, then last year when I moved I needed a new hifi anyway so went the whole way and got a seperates 5.1 system , best thing I ever bought, albums sound amazing, movies sound fantastic!

I have mine built in to everything, its classed as an 8.1 but i added a B&O Seperate that splits the sound even further. The whole system is 3000 watts, never had at full ppower as theres no need to. I got my mate a Sony sytem thats wireless and its great. Its free standing aswell as wall hung speakers, i find sony to be criper and a cleaner sound that most others. It just depends on how much you want to spend!

Hi Drewmidorn. I first saw B&O at my uncles in Leeds nearly 20 years ago, and to this date he still has the same system. I guess its just pot luck like everything else on the market. Have to say though sometimes you do get what you pay for!.My first every system was a Sony and it lasted me on 10 years, mind it was getting moved around as i moved so lucky it lasted as long.

Just want to report I bought a DVD of The Long Good Friday for ?1.50 yesterday in Oxfam. Haven't seen it since 1979 in a cinema.

More top blood and guts - but with an East End violent streak. It wasn't as dated as I thought it might be. The soundtrack is very late 70s synth strings, and lots of sax like Baker Street. Just fine.

It was a great late afternoon view, and because my wife is away until Thursday seeing the in-laws in Derbyshire, I've been able to toke like a hero throughout the homestead.
