i keep lookin at a nice merkur, something like a 38C or similar for those special occasion..or ive got an extra few mins shaves
sick of my mach series..i use a braun electric now that does a decent job..main shave with the foil and touch up with the trimmer..only takes me 5 mins max for work in a mornin haha!
but yeah..a nice safety razor is a man's 'must have'...if he likes quality goods.

No blade is without it's cream/foam/clay. I can whole heartedly reccomend Lush Shave The Planet clay. No closer wet shave nor better moisturiser in one. Couple that with a really sharp blade edge and you're away. Even tried shaving with an uber sharp Tojiro Senkou (spelling??) new kitchen knife and with that clay was v v nice indeed.

Its not that unusal, We have s shaving centre (its just a small shop) in Glasgow dedicated to razors and shaving accessories.

That's sounds great, I use a gillette multiblade, and it does leave a rash on the neck sometimes, plus if its hot that day you have to prey you don't sweat or its sting city

My wife shaves my head every other day with a merkur HD. It's all good. Takes a little learning like anything but my head is always smooth and no rash. ( just 1 blade doing the cut not 5 causing damage)

You get a proper shave at a fraction of the cost! I used a merkur HD for a few years and have saved a fortune! Merkur blades are about ?5 for 10, each of which has 2 edges.... Yes the HD will set you back about ?25 but you soon get it back once you stop buying the fusion blades!!!!! ?9 for 4!

It's just another hobby really but the returns are fantastic.

    I use a Fusion....?

So, what your saying there is a better way of wet shaving? As I can't stand the electric ones...
