The deal is what it was always going to be, the least amount of self harm done. To be fair, I was fooled by the government for a while and really thought they were going for a no deal. But the reality was always that Britain is negotiating from a position of weakness and this is the result of it. A pointless project is finally coming to an end and we can finally all start making the best of a bad situation.

Personally, I'm super happy. While we all got 10-20% poorer as a direct result of the referendum (value of the pound), a no deal would have meant the loss of a further 30-40k, when we have to exchange the money we get for our house in London in February.

Germany, South of Hamburg. Edge of a small village and a nice garden. We were looking for a change of life style and since we both work from home, we can live more rural, but still just an hour from Hamburg.
