Just come across some yt videos on snuff and was wondering if any of you guys use it at all and any recommendations

Used to buy a nice Wilson's Toast Snuff over the Temple bar in Dublin.

I like a snuff of Poschl Redbull if the mood takes me but haven't made a hobby / habbit of taking it.

Lots of it is made up in the Lakes, along with a decent slug of pipe tobacco. Mrs C hails from up there so tried it years ago while attempting to make my ruddy inlaws more interesting on forced visits ( a view MLW agrees upon) .... i found the various fruit flavours to be fun, until the sneezing. And the 24 hours of entertainingly colourful snot. Worth trying but not for me in the long run...

I got a load of snuff from Wilsons of Sharrow while buying a zippo as it was on sale for a selection pack- some of them are vile but a couple were quite nice. As you don’t pay tax on it and can do it indoors, it felt like a worthwhile gamble.

they had to change their name apparently due to some kinds sounding appealing to kids (honey, Turkish delight etc) so the honey one is now called Bee something or other and that was my favourite. You get different levels of moistness too, I don’t like the really dry ones.

I used to have it on occasion when I went to Germany as a kid (it seems more popular over there). Gawith was
amither make I didn’t mind (like the Wilson’s it’s relatively cheap).

after a while the sneezing stopped and I now feel like a snuff pro 😂 (we all have our niche in life, I’d be disappointed if this remained mine)

So I've been trying Samuel gawith aribca and Mcrystals Sicilian Burst. It takes a bit of getting used to but I'm quite enjoying a couple of pinches in the morning with a coffee. It's not going to replace cigars for me but as some of the posts above mention, you can do it indoors which is where we are stuck at the moment 🤣. Also the price is good

While ordering some cigars online and having read this thread I decided to buy some snuff.

All I can say is WOW! First use I think I used far too much and it blew my head off. I had a brain freeze for over a minute and broke down in beads of sweat.
(My wife found it hilarious may I add)
Second attempt was with much more caution and I was pleasantly surprised. Nice menthol hit that certainly cleared my nose but do not look at your tissue when you blow your nose. Not the nicest of sights.
I don't know if it is something I would use on a daily basis but I do know it will clear a head cold in a second.
