          I thought thismolypics seemed to host more PBs and world records than previous ones. I might be mistaken but if I am not I ask why it was so. Was it the fact that there was an extra years training / rest between it and previous? I wonder therefore how the athletes will fair in 2024, with only THREE years...

            I think there were faster times run on the track but not records in the throwing and other field events, which points to shoe tech and the track itself as being geared to these faster times, so there is a cloud over these performances.
