UPDATE: unfortunately the eggs didn't make it the mother kept returning to the nest every night until about 2 days ago when she gave up on the nest I have since been out and had a look to see if any had hatched and it looks like a crow or magpie have been and smashed 2 eggs the other 2 are still there but they should have hatched by now.

Yeah I didn't touch or remove the eggs or nest but unfortunately they never got incubated by their parents and are still in the nest at the back of my garden once winter has been and gone I am going to remove the foliage that they are in but I have been building some bird boxes for the trees in my gardenOriginally posted by YoelD View PostSorry I'm late to this.
Don't touch them! Most songbirds won't sit until the last of the eggs are laid. Also remember you cannot usually legally remove abandoned eggs.
