      I get it now!

Just an idea, but why not start a poll on the best Bond film...? Be interesting.

I thought about that, but there are only 10 slots for the poll. We'd have to narrow it down to the classics, but that in itself might be controversial, seeing as how well loved Moonraker is.

Plus we already know that Goldfinger would win

I was rather shocked about Moonraker as I thought it was pretty good! Why not include all 007 movies including 'Never Say Never Again', thus resulting in 23 total entry spots...

Now that someone has mentioned 'Best Bond film', I feel I can bring up my earlier post with reference to my favourite.

              The Living Daylights it is!

Good choice! But a damn hard one to actually choose just one... hmmm... I could always subcategorise:

Best of the 1960s = Goldfinger
Best of the 1970s = Moonraker
Best of the 1980s = The Living Daylights
Best of the last 20 years = Casino Royal

                All time favourite = Goldfinger.

I want to say Sean but I think he's a bit of an arse for various political reasons that I won't rant about here so I just can't bring myself to vote for him.

My favourite film as to be The Living Daylights though, but I love anything with a heavy 80s vibe.

Can't say as I was surprised, but it looks like this one clearly goes to Connery, with Moore in a strong second, and Craig barely taking third. I'm a bit surprised by Brosnan's showing, but he did have a few hits in the series.

If Craig can be given some get some films in the vein of his first outing, I think he can still reach the top.

I'd vote for Brosnan over Craig any day. Craig just isn't suave enough or articulate enough to play Bond IMO, he's being turned into too much of an action hero.

That would produce a bit of cognitive dissonance, but he would be a good crotchety old M.

he should play it as 007 , a promotion , not just replacing the actor
