        I love it too--it's the only time of year in the states when people feel alright being spooky and different. In terms of commercialism, that's a hard point, but I can't think of many things that aren't under that category in our lives.

                My sons birthday is on the 31st Oct so we have a small bonfire with fireworks..

                    Gave in and decided to carve up some pumpkin and for my first try i don't think i did too bad



                    I think next time i'll make the hole in the top bigger so my hand can actually fit in. Started with a knife but after the straight cuts for the nose realised it was going to be hard work to switched to the dremel with a small drill bit in and used it like a router, going slow and it cut like a hot knife through butter. Going to put a candle in it tonight and maybe make the holes a bit bigger if it doesn't light up enough. Come on guys get those pumpkins all carved up, it is a lot of fun.

                    Also noticed Asda are selling hobgoblin as the unofficial halloween beer s got a couple to try.

                      Hobgoblin is pretty good but if you can find it then King Goblin is stronger and stands up to a cigar better. I think it's only avaliable at Morrisons though.
