Saw the trailer on the SyFy channel the other day that said coming soon, there are ways and means of watching it as soon as it is shown in the US .

    Looks like a cracking show.

Jibjob, every time I see that trailer a little piece of my brain explodes with excitement

Comes out in the UK on something like the 7th November - couldn't tell you what channel though. Since the birth of P2P and torrents, UK TV companies are getting better and better at airing US shows pretty soon after they air in ther US.

I'll be looking forward to some dissemination/discussion on Walking Dead after it airs then, eh boys?

For anyone who thinks that John Lithgow is a likeable old klutz from 3 rocks from the sun, watch Dexter series 4.

Quite the most genuinely terrifying villain I have seen on TV.

Okay, just finished watching the first episode (1:10) of the walking dead and it was very good. Zombies aren't a stupid plot device and the writing seems to be done intelligently. Lots of questions will be answered hopefully in the rest of the series and episode 1 finishes on a cliff hanger. Very realistically done although some of the special effects could be a bit better but i doubt this is the final to air copy. All in all i think i'm really going to like this show and i reckon it has lots of mileage in it.

Dexter, True Blood, Mad Men, Man v Food, LuxeTV, Downton Abbey, oh and Desperate Housewives. I'm also quite partial to BBC news 24 and Fringe and stargate universe

Pillars of something is quite good too.

West Wing was another favourite of mine, years ago.
                  Ditto on every point!

I can't believe that no one has mentioned Fringe. Or one of the best tv showd for years The Shield. Watch it if you can as it is a great serise, I think better than the wire.

Fringe is good but I fear it is going the way if other successful US shows like heroes and lost that looses the plot in search of never ending ratings. It just seems to be loosing it's direction with new plot devices thrown in every week and more questions asked than answered. I do like trying to spot the stranger in every episode, like an Easter egg for the hard core fans lol.

As Simon said, new series of NCIS started last night. Had far too much work to do last night so ended up recording it so I've not watched it yet!

I've also been watching Burn Notice, Better off Ted (hilarious) and, as always, animated shows like Family Guy, American Dad & Robot Chicken (too random for words!).

Also loving the mentalist, nice to see where they are going with Patric making him a more human. My guess is that Red John will be someone from his past or someone he has known for a while and sees on a regular basis. Hope they don't do a Saw film script writing and every time you think he is dead it is revealed he isn't in the new series lol.

Just watched BBC Three's new series DOA, think it stands for dead on arrival http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00vl3sk. It is about an ambulance, very course adult humour. Loved every minute of it.
