Thinking of getting Starlink as I live in a rural area and there are no plans to upgrade our broadband to FTTP anytime soon..

Just wondering if anyone has any experience good or bad?

    Muchos gracias in advance.

Only on cruise ships as part of their wifi packages and it was super quick and reliable (and expensive).

I can't trust a thing that Musky is involved in. I once considered buying a Tesla..... Not a fooking chance now

I'm looking at it for at Chile road trip in 27. All I read is good so I'll get it for the trip.
There are reasonable plans (I believe especially if you live in a bugger-all place 😝)

The plan I am looking at is all free equipment for £75 a month.. it's expensive but if the speeds are to be believed it will be 10 times what I get now.

            We shall see!

Who were you cruising with mate? We have done MSC & NCL.

Last one we did, with the Starlink, was P&O. We've done quite a few with them and Royal Carribbean a couple of times

Well I got it installed today.. 10 times the speed of my previous BT broadband. The monthly cost of course is more - but the hardware and installation was all free and no activation fee which put me off previously!

I run one and would highly recommend it. The monthly fee is relatively low and we’ve never had major service interruptions. Highly recommended.

Here its only giving me the residential max option at 75£ / month. Too much. There seems to be a 35£ a month 100mbps option that's cheaper than my current service. But not available here I guess. Odd.
