Exceptional taste in cars Simon! I purchased my V8 Vantage in 2021 but have not put nearly enough miles on it yet. Don't have the heart to take it on a proper track day, but intending on completing the NC500 this summer if all goes according to plan 🤞🏼

Lovely car & a great plan, hope it comes to fruition. To be honest I am only jealous that you have such great garaging facilities! Unfortunately, mine sits on my daughter's drive, as we don't have one, let alone a garage. But I had an electrical box fitted so at least I can keep it on trickle charge & use a roof cover to stop the shitehawks form ruining the soft top.

Sounds like a great day Simon. Be interested to hear how far people actually took it, were there some very competitive racers there?

I have a love / hate relationship with Castle Combe. I've loved racing there over the years, though many years ago a client destroyed my then race car at Avon Rise, when he lifted off at the bump and span us into the wall. That was an expensive track day for him!

Apologies missed this post. No, from what I saw everyone was well behaved. It helped everyone being in the same club, most participants had been there before & the limit of 6 cars on track at a time meant you had space & beginners like me were happy to yield to faster cars.

Apologies, don't know why this didn't flag as a new post for me?
What a day, were you in the car with him? Any injuries? What type of car was it?
