Nothing wrong with musicals (though I can't get into them myself, save for Singing in the Rain), though I'm sure you get a lot of tedious gay jokes. Why oh why.

However, I can't go with you on Angel--Buffy was much better written, in my opinion, and Angel was a bit more slapped together. Still watched it for a couple of seasons, though--more as a way of mourning the passing of Buffy.
