I am off the rig early this yr, so no panic about getting home on time (last yr didn't get home til 1930 on the 24th, now that's cutting it fine).
After attending local church with daughter, we're off to best friends deep in the Belgian countryside for lunch, which consists of many light courses & eventually merges into dinner. I am planning to smoke several small sticks inbetween the early courses & a RA '80's stix to round the evening off. Just hope the weather & roads will be OK or the wife won't drive....

Welcome to the club, we got the contents of John Lewis and Mamas and Papas and emptied them into our place

Always spent with family and friends throughout the holidays with the obvious Christmas cheer (which could include the odd bottle of Riesling now I'm into wine only took 31 years), however I will more than likely be putting up flat packed goods from Mamas and papas as our first child is due in February, but I'm also sure I'll be fitting a fair few cigars around my breaks.....can't wait......

I'll be travelling all the way to Henley for a couple of nights @ the Hotel Du Vin (4th year in a row). Christmas Eve & Day with my wife, mother, brother and a few good sticks.

No points for guessing where my bro & I will be spending most of our time!

I think I'd love to go away for Christmas!
I hate the cold and short days. Christmas is just another party time really. I don't feel it's that special at all.

I'm in retail so Xmas holidays are usually a hard fight to get but this year I'm off from the 24th to the 4th and intend to follow the exact pattern as prescribed by Whisk up above....food, films, sweeties and booze'n'smokes. Cannae wait

Just me,Susie and my two lovely weans....I think this will be the last year the wee one really believe in Santa as she's asking lots of questions...quite sad about this tbh
