I've got 3x electric and 1x acoustic guitars, my wife has a piano.

I'm just self taught but she is really good.

My 'Axes', in the order which I procured them!

Manuel Contreras 1996 No. 3 'India', made in madrid.
My classical, lovely mellow thing. But quite a tricky one to play, high action and fat fret wire. Great bass!

My first electric, looks good but sounds a bit crap, I use it to record a lot because sometimes a crap guitar sound is what you really really want!

Melancon Pro Artist Strat - Strat style modernised, slimmer body, far prefer it to fender customs (except the ol' fenders)

    R. Taylor, Style 1, 2006. Incredible sparkly guitar, similar tone to taylors but does everything on another level, great for fingerstyle, best bass ive heard in an acoustic, best highs too!

1950's Stella Harmony 12-string, I was told its a similar guitar to the one leadbelly played, it does really dirty, broken-sounding stuff. I like tuning it very low. It doesn't do pretty, its very guttural:

My latest love, I'm borrowing it at the moment but hopefully that'll change... incredible flamenco guitar. Another Manuel Contreras but this one from 1977, back when they used peg heads. stunningly easy to play, very very powerful. I feel Contreras are very much overlooked in the classical and flamenco world.

Lastly a 1920's Roy Smeck Vita Ukulele!

    Apologies for large pics

Also have a yamaha clavinova but that hasnt seen any use for years

    Keyboard, tin whistle.

If I had the room I'd have a marimba again.
