What I really love is pistols but all gone now (can't be doing with black powder). Used to be a member at Marylbone way back. BTW I understand they are about to get new premiss in North London, perhaps I'll get back into the .22's but a bit lightweight for me.

NB - mine looked like this, got stolen in a house burglary many years ago, I still miss it.

trouble is nowadays it's so much hassle with variations it actually stops your enjoyment..if it wasn't that we've got a bloody good FAO in this area I'd have binned the lot after the pistol fiasco!

yep cant expect everyone to have a chrono for there air rifles.

missus was talking about a trip to jersey so i jumped at it
no pistol ban there ,already sourced the local club so i may dissapere for a day or two while we are there

Underneath are two of my favoutite springers a AA TX200 MK1 that I used to use for FT @ 11.9ftlb & my favorite AA Pro-Elite .177 @ 28ftlb that I use for the pot.. I frequently outscored the Weirauch users with the TX.. & it's more accurate than what I can get out of it

Love it. I shoot a Norica Dragon .22 with an MTC Viper. Scopes worth more than the rifle, but I love springers - best practice for keeping my rifle accuracy up!

It's fascinating, really gives you a 'feel' for shooting..quite pant wetting at times, you wouldn't want to put some of my early loads through your nice new shiny Miroku, specially the single ball 12 gauge!

you load your own shotgun carts?
thought the price of lead nowadays made that a no no

may try it in the future ,its very tecnical ,type of powder, how fast it burns
kick you get etc higher loads not always a bad thing if faster burning.
but i spose if your going to do it what better understanding than makeing your own

Although somewhat useless in the UK, pistol really..not sure why, probably all the US drama my life has been saturated with due to my age.

So as an over 18, I could simply buy that? no license needed?
I'd probably want to start with something like that to learn basic handling and such. Put quite simply the amount of equipment and safe storage in the UK would put anything serious out of my league for some time.

if you wanted to get a real firearm you do have to jump through hoops in the uk.
it can be as expensive as you want it to be ,take a shotgun
cert =?50 visit by the police to make shure you are not a nutter

a good starter shotgun secondhand can be purchased for ?150
(but then you will want a ?2000/?30,000 one)
cartridges ?5.00+ for 25
then you have a FAC whole new kettle of fish
best to have a go somewhere to see if you like it first

being completely new to any kind of shooting, how would one go about being legal to purchase one of those?
Would be good to just learn the basics with something similar to that.

these are totaly legal to own if over 18 and if your within there area the link provided will deliver to your door.
like puff said though this pistol is more of a toy good for fun plinking in your garden but not real shooting.
if you fancy shooting a good cheap break barrel air rifle will start you off
but nothing beats a shotgun and turning a clay to dust , do a google search if theres a club local most do a" have a go" lesson with instruction and gun hire included.
