Indeed, a truely decent act. Perhaps the fact you recently retired made this possible but the open ended nature of this mercy call is what makes it so amazing to me. Having nursed many patients to the end, I have total respect for those cares who do it 24hrs a day, so different from us professional medical types only working shifts & then going home to normal life.
Word of to your good lady wife too, for her understanding in letting you go. Sure she had plans for your retirement too.
Totally understand about taking the humis, I hate leaving mine every month but my wife can't even keep green plants correctly watered, no way would I let her 'water' my cigars
