Mine is the name of the main character I used to play in Star Wars Galaxies a few years ago. I started using it here and there while I was still playing and a fair few people got to know me as Tzu so it stuck.
Lo there do I see my Father. Lo there do I see my Mother, and my Sisters and my Brothers. Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever.

Mine has multiple reasons. First, my name is Richard Michael Green, I go by Rick, hence RickMG. I've had over 50 MG's (only restored about 10) hence RickMG. My business here in St. Louis was started and named for my grandfather, Max German and we put out some MG brand products, hence RickMG. Borring, I know but it fits.

There are so many good reasons for usernames and mine is so rubbish compared to all the cool stories here.

I am a member on a car forum and have a 1993 Cavalier Turbo 4x4. I do track days and show it.... there are only about 100 left and mine is known on the scene. They are pretty rare and starting to become a collectors (if your into that kind of thing) Its the Vauxhall version of the cosworth.

        I started as Turboshane...
It aint where ya from, its where ya at!

I am a keen shooter and was once asked if I shot with both eyes open or one shut, to which I replied 'Hell I just Close Em Both'

I took my GF to the Czech republic a few years ago. After a week of shooting I still couldn't get a photo of her with her eyes open when she pulled the trigger (and its not cos of my photography).

Years ago I was signing up for something, and the usual user name I used had been taken. At the time I was listening a song named, Detroit Waves, and therefore that was the winner...and since then Ive used it on everything almost.

Despite the rather straight forwards user-name my avatar picture of Michael Corleone refers to my love of the films, extending to me writing my Masters Dissertation in Theology on informing the methodolgy between film and religion.

Being the only one of my friends who used to smoke cigars I gained the nickname Smokey, nothing special, I didn't think my online gaming name of Bashball was right for a cigar forum

Growing up I was a fat kid, until the age of about 18 my weight matched my age. Sixteen stone at age sixteen, etc. I topped out at 23 stone at around the age of 30. Being the staggeringly stubborn person I am, I decided to lose weight and I dropped to 12 stone in about eighteen months. Very little food and lots of cardio at the gym works a charm. Since then I have cut down on the cardio and started doing lots of weight training, I have also had to increase what I eat. I am about 14.5 stone at the mo which is heavier than I would like but if I restrict what I eat more then I fail to build muscle. A good chunk of that increased weight is muscle though. Swings and roundabouts, etc.

“Big Trev”, or “Big T” was simply a semi-affectionate nickname from supposedly my good friends referring to me as a fat fuck. People are funny, ain’t they? Oh how we laughed, oh wait....

Only real downside to all this is that I have become like one of those militant ex-smokers. If somebody complains about being too fat I have very little sympathy. Get off your arse and fix it, it is really dead easy. Burn more calories than you eat, not rocket science.

                        Anyway, blah blah......
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"

Well I could say here that hanging between my legs is a pair of gibbons gonads , but the truth is a friend of mine took a photo of me on a phone with a very poor quality camera, and my head came out exactly the shape of a monkey nut for some reason - so I've used the name ever since.

I needed a handle for the old Club Havana Site, being Simon anyway I guess I though Simon Bolivar was a natural choice; a real Latin American hero. If you check him out on Wilkipedia you might be surprised what he actually achieved (& what he didn't) not too mention how long his full name was:
Simon Jose Antono de la Santisimo Trinidad Bolivary Palacios Ponte y Blanco.
Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.
