God of Fire for special occasions

Having recently enjoyed a 2007 God of Fire Don Carlos Robusto on Christmas day, (one of the very best cigars I have ever had), I decided to treat myself to a box of Don Carlos Toro for special occasions. They already have three years on them, and so the first will see a match on my birthday at the end of this month.

First inside the box was a list of all of the November 2011 God of Fire releases.





Each box is individually numbered. On the back of the box is a label with the box number "076 / 500"


Inside the box is a custom Humidipak, which is a neat touch.





I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Beautiful presentation.

Had a great thought for other humidifying paraphernalia, puck bead stick in a box! Would need the box to be a tad bigger / expensive but to me it sounds great!

Ol' TJ has sung the God of Fire's praises for many years. I remember him drawing me to look at a box in one of the casa in Londinium during the inaugural Cigar Walk back in the day

I think that I prefer the Don Carlos. The Carlito has a bit more "bite" to it.
But they are both great.

My Christmas day smoke was worth recording for posterity.

I am a big fan of senor don Carlos as well, but when it comes to the the GOF line, my preference is don Carlito. But it's the year that make's the difference, IMO - 2005/6 were excellent years for the GOF!
