Boys, boys, boys gather round and I will explain how this works.

Get half delivered to the house and anytime she moans ask about her new shoes/handbag/clothes/jewlery/makeup etc she will soon stop asking/moaning.

Get the second half delivered to work, what she doesn't know won't hurt her.

I just use what she always says to me

i ask are those shoes new ? She answers no had them ages.

she asks are those new cigars ? I answer no had them ages.

But I just say "I earned it.", tends to do the trick and to be fair she is pretty understanding my Mrs.

Our lass and I still have separate finances for the most part so it's not such an issue. I also take home about twice what she does so tend to have a lot of leeway.

That said she did say 'you have enough cigars' the other day. Which is a half truth...

can you tell me a little bit more on headly grange? i am not particularly familiar with the dominicans
