Birthday present from my dear wife, three Cohiba Esplendidos, from JJ Fox, in superb condition. I just wish they showed the year on the box, although they look and smell fantastically ready, but will probably keep them in humi for a few weeks.

Nice one! I have yet to try that stick but everything they do is good tbh. My VI Siglo's are the nicest sticks I've tried so far. Enjoy and happy birthday.

Aye, HappyBirthday GFK1, see you are reaping the rewards of carefully training your wife into actually giving you what you want for your B/Day; I am in awe. BTW, these super sticks have lost some of their popularity after yrs of fakes & so many alternatives on the EL/RE markets & Behikes of course. However I can assure you that a well aged, genuine Esplen, is a work of the blender & rollers art & to be suitabley enjoyed & appreciated. Birthdays & celibrations of giant fish are two of the best reasons I know to clip one of these; enjoy. Let us know what you thought of it & how you would compare it with the VI.

Apparently bonefish are the best but I haven't tried for them. I told the wife that Cuba would be a good holiday, kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Too sport fishing and cheap sticks for me with the added bonus that she can have a beach holiday with lots of interesting sights too. Wait that's four birds. Saweeeet!
Many thanks all for your kind wishes. I will ask jj about the date, maybe even try one this weekend. Training the wife took many hours of hard and expensive endeavor. She's even partial to the occasional Cohiba panatela now!
