    This Is It!

And now, a basic review from Bag Boy*

Cough-cough...ahem - As noted earlier, ummm... (Yikes! Bag Boy's nerves are getting the best of him as he begins to speak - his hands tremble as his voice crack and squeaks, while the small, but sophisticated group that has gathered begins to squirm uncomfortably in their seats. After several anxious minutes composing himself, Bag Boy begins again.)

(Ahem...) As I noted earlier, this stick had a very pleasant pre-draw - reminded me of a high-end Padron, but I could be confusing it with another quality NC or Catalina Joy. Either way, it tasted like earth and spice and all things nice! (Great! After recovering from a devastating start, Bag Boy's confidence grows as he begins to speak with the clarity and confidence of a seasoned aficionado. Leaning forward on the lectern he thinks to himself, "I got this!)

The NC cigar which is the subject of tonight's review was plucked from a box dated September 2014 that arrived at my door only moments before. It had been in travel status for two days, so why wait....or so I thought! After cracking open the box and inhaling the intoxicating aroma, I tugged on the ribbon to loosen up one stick and sparked it up. At first, I found this "fresh" NC cigar to be enjoyable, quite enjoyable indeed, but sadly, if i am honest, not quite as enjoyable as the first two I purchased from a nearby Brick and Mortar (That's "B&M" for all you youngsters out there). So, what was the difference between this one and the prior two I had smoked? Well, unlike the first two, this one began to develop a slight edge, a rough spot if you will, about halfway down. Annnnd in the end, the love you take.....errrr, I mean....and in the end, I didn't "nub" this new one the way I had with the previous two. In fact, I put it down at the 3/4 point.
(Wow! Bag Boy is back on track now as the ever-growing audience hangs on every word and begins to push forward to get a close look at the elusive speaker)

Now I should note that I am a VERY SLOW smoker compared to most, so I would not be surprised to learn that it took over an hour and a half to reach the 3/4 mark. So the slight displeasure I experienced around the half-way point may have been a function of time. Who knows? I must admit, there are times, and perhaps some of you have expereinced this yourselves, but there are times when I get tired of smoking and just want to get it over, no matter how good the puro or cigar may be. But the more costly the stick, the longer I try to hang in, so to speak. But I NEVER, EVER time myself when I sit down with a fine puro or cigar. No, Never! That would be undignified and, if i am honest, runs counter to the reason we all smoke and enjoy those precious; times when we take a moment to sit and visit with our best friends - fine NC cigars and puros.

So what's the verdict? Well, as many of you may know, there are many, many variables that go into the total puro and cigar experience, not the least of which are; time of day, weather conditions, smoking environment, mood, last time we got laid, and what we last ate (Catalina Joy excluded).
(Uh oh! He's done it again! The audience is confused with those last two comments and begins to nervously look around as a few outliers giggle in spurts. After a few seconds, which must seem like an eternity to Bag Boy, the masses erupt in laughter as they begin to understand the so-called "Coro Humor." WHEW! That was close!)

In Conclusion: Let me just say that I enjoyed the first young stick very much; just not as much as the two before. Was the stick too young? Perhaps. Was the cheese burger I ate before masking the spicy favors? Maybe. Is a year two long between blow jobs? Absolutely!
(Oh shit! He's done it again! The now over-capacity audience begins to grow uncomfortable and a bit angry before they begin to burst out in spurts of nervous laughter. Another close call. Time to wrap it up.)

So, was this an anomaly or were other outside factors affecting my enjoyment of this gorgeous lancero? I'm afraid this is a question for the ages....only time will tell, amigos. Fingers crossed, I hope that after a few days rest in don TJ's massive unit, they will come around and be as enjoyable or even better than the first two I smoked; otherwise, I may be forced to trade them with an unsuspecting knewbee, such as young
butterednutz....( pssst! Don't mention this on the forums, por favor!)

    Names
*Boy, Bag Boy, and I thank you for your attention!

(And with that last statement, Bag Boy finishes his review and exits the stage to a thunderous applause, shouts and cheers as many of the youngsters in the audience hold up Bic lighters in salute of the young Coro and in hopes of an encore. But it wasn't to be. Bag Boy has left the building.)

*Please note: the original and registered "Bag Boy" emoticon is temporarily out of services. In the meantime, please accept our apologies and this rather lame substitute. Thank You! - la familia Coro

Haha! Are you kidding me, BB?? What UKCF member or guest would waste their time reading THIS CRAP??? Certainly not the normal ones....that's for sure.

Me too. I think Bag Boy should pull his reviewing pants on more often. Perhaps we'll see a revisit to this cigar once it's had some time in the luurve nest, usually know as TJ's massive unit
