Received these today some cheap petite Coronas and robustos to keep me away from my decent cigars which I'll try after a month or so in the humidor still teaching my palette to the diverse tastes and joys of cigars before making my mind up on a few boxes
Some good stuff, I'm still to try a wide Churchill and Oliva are one of my favourite NC brands. Enjoy smoking your nuts. Actually that sounds like something you might read in a Mexican paper. "Mad made to smoke his nuts in gang feud".
Yep, looks like a nice haul. I've had a couple of the RyJ Short Churchill and really enjoyed them. Presumably the Wide will be a good smoke too.
I also went for your strategy of trying different cigars before making my mind up on a few boxes. It's a good idea, but turns out I was just holding back the flood gates. With the first order in, I'm already pondering the next one! There's a certain inevitability about this, evidenced by the remarkably accurate predictions everyone made when I joined the forum - it'll become an obsession and I'll have no money left! You're next?!

Your not wrong there I'm constantly thinking of what to get but its a lovely obsession. Even more so as boxes I buy will give me years of pleasure and its taken me two years to say this but luckily I've no wife anymore to nag about my spending [emoji3]
I'm also lucky. MLW has undergone a miraculous transformation, from ardent opposition to reluctant acceptance to visiting the Bear Shop in Cardiff with me (a lovely traditional tobacconist). She even smiles about it all occasionally and since she doesn't go out to work, she wouldn't complain about the money.
