  • New addition - which way to go

So the wineador is full. To the brim.
As is one of my two 12l locknlocks.
    So what to do....
New wineador to sit on top of the old one?
    Singles humi like Mr Maduros?
Ikeador? (although temp may be an issue)
    Scubador?

Why are you kidding yourself with this question.....we all know you will kick your family out and have one massive walk in humi house!!

But if we must play this game- second wineador as in 2 months time you will repeat this post

In 2-3 months the baby will be here - I think I'm just trying to get supplies in before the storm hits.
Can't see me getting away with buying much for 6 months after the kid arrives....
Time to start looking for second wineador then!
The only thing is, I don't like the wineador - I'd look drawers where I can slide them out to look at individual layers of beautiful cigars - instead, I have a tupperdore in the bottom, filled with singles!

Can we wager on your no buying sentence? Have a feeling I could win that [emoji6]

A second wineador would be the way I'd go....unless you can get hold of one those tower units cheap!

The temperature is not an issue in the Ikeador because cold doesn't bother the tobacco. If you're worried about smoking cold cigars use it for storage only. I have got the humidity under control now. In the winter it is about keeping it down and my solution is actually quite attractive. I covered the whole of the base with silica kitty litter then placed a couple if those ventilation trays from the Lock'n'locks on top. The boxes on the bottom don't touch the crystals and the air is free to circulate. In a couple of months I'll replace it. When excess humidity is no longer an issue Bovedas will take over for the good weather.

Am more worried about hot weather than cold with glass - Whatever I use will be in the same cupboard the wineador is in now... So cold isn't too bad, but heat could be?

New addition - which way to go

Blumming hell mate, talk about taking this hobby seriously.
Ive still got my 100ct desktop humi that I occasionally top up.

              Putting me to shame.

Think it might be best to start investing in a cabinet [emoji1]

Is heat an issue in your house then? There's a circular hole for lighting in the top which is plugged and would take a computer fan or similar.

I think I need a singles humi - something with drawers.
This is, roughly, what I've got....
                      Singles - 53
                      Doubles - 8
                      Triple - 1
                      Fours - 36
                      Fivers - 3
                      Sixers - 3
And about 8 or so boxes...
The boxes can stay in the wineador.
I need a good and effective way of storing the singles. - I want the singles in single layers, so I can easily see what I have. I'm ok with storing the multiples together, but would like those in drawers as well....
So which way do I go?
Price is an issue - I keep scouting gumtree and ebay - I'm gutted she withdrew that Faudorini.
I don't know if I can be bothered with multiple humis - but I might have to.
The other thing to mention is the only space I have is the cupboard which houses my current wineador.
I could easily fit another one on top, but that wouldn't solve the drawer issue.
Am aiming to do it as cheap as possible too.....

I was looking at that, but it seemed small, especially with the humidification devices in?
Edit* Actually, that looks pretty good....
                          Anyone on here have one?

The 100ct I got will take about 120 if you are a tetris guru.
