Past the 1998 barrier, the cigars get more and more expensive. I'd say for every cigar on the public market from 1997, there are 50 cigars from 1998.

But I'm just mentioning to take that into consideration when comparing prices. Especially with a public online auction where these cigars would fetch much more. 280 is a very low price for '97 Inmensas that I'd pay without a doubt, though. I think a fairer price would be something like 400 pounds on the public market for 1997s.

I mentioned a box of 1997s would cost substantially different from a box of 2000s.

Yeah I read a cigar book on flight so that was in my descision making process weren't overly expensive either just used the Dhirams we had left to get them was going to pay with my credit card but realized I had enough in my wallet..went back and got the Montes with my credit card but they were reasonable considering the age etc.
