Picked these up from post office depo and glad to say I didn't try and squeeze one more cigar order in before xmas as was considering. The place was stuffed to the gills with packages and we are not even in December yet!

They are both lovely looking cigars and great looking boxes. Hoped for more age but will just have to stick them at the bottom of the scubador and try and forget about them. Speaking of which here is how its filling up.

Reckon that's about 300 odd cigars in there and still plenty room. All depends on how easy access you need I guess. Could ram another 3 or 400 more in but would have to tip it all out to find anything or comfortably put another 200 in.

Very nice. Are those Cuaba quite aged? Maybe 1999??? The trinidad's are a great buy too, scale is hard to decipher, are they Reyes or Robusto extra? Ex pro, always worth buying.
Your scubador is the same as mine, great bit of kit! I have four small Boveda 69's in mine and it sits ad a rock steady 69%

Nah they are both from this year. Its Cuaba Salomon: 10 Box and Trinidad Coloniales: 24 Box.

      Ex pro?

Im using Xiklar but buying some 65% Boveda in January for it

Nice buy. I only got into the Coloniales this year after picking some up in a buy out sale, certainly prefer them to the Reyes.
I don't know if it makes any difference but I try to avoid putting my boxes on their ends & keep them flat if possible. I know that means taking more boxes out to get at the one you want but there will be less rolling of sticks in the box, especially when you have taken a few out of the box.

Epic fail in my part then! Ex production is what I was referring to. When I thought it was robusto extras. I haven't had a collonial but they look great.

Good point. I am only in once a week or so but yeah worth taking into consideration. Planning (wishfully thinking lol) to leave the last 2 purchases alone for a coupleof years so they got sat flat. Can you remember how old the ones you got were?

Nice buys Wigan, .... 2hours+ the Salomones, but great cigars .... and I agree with Simon, the Coloniales is a better smoke than the Reyes.

Those Cafe Creme and Villiger would be better of out of humidification by the way .... they're stored dry shelf in any tobacconists.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

Heard the Salomones are a bugger to smoke and keep lit if under 3 years old. Any truth to that? Now I think of it I think it was Butters that said it......

The others are left over from when I first got into cigars and will probably never get touched so doesn't matter much where I put them but thanks for the advice.

I don't think the original photos do justice the art work in trinadad box so thought I put one up showing it clearer.

                            Exquisite isn't it?
