Beastie boys were fantastic. Remember seeing them live when I was 15 at Wembley arena......it is in my top 3 gigs.

Beastie boys were my first gig....93 or 94 at the Astoria in London. They made some great music. They had 3 stages like Marc says...Punk....Shite pop/rock hip hop then great hip hop.

That must have been there ill communication tour. Would have loved to have seen them on that tour, but I would have been about 11...... I saw them on their Hello Nasty Tour, '98.

Yep...Ill Communication tour indeed....Luscious Jackson supported. Great night that was.
I saw them at Brixton on the Hello Nasty tour too. Great musicians they were, underrated.

Awesome.....they had the Jungle Brothers supporting them at Wembley; were ok. But Beastie Boys were epic; absolutely fantastic live band and as you say, very underated.

Actually I tell a Lie...After looking it up...I didn't see them in 98, I saw them again at Brixton in 95 with Hurricane and John Spenser Blues Explosion supported.
