A fine and varied selection there! I hope they're all delicious. I've only tried a few there, but most of the rest are on my wish list.

Perhaps on picture 2 you could identify them from left to right to give our new members a reference point for sizes?

Nice selection from what I can tell. But I concur with peejay a little run through would be dandy.

And those Party shorts really are nicely box-pressed!

Sure thing would be great for the new guys, as there are some good sticks in there to try as a newbie........will also leave a few notes in brackets of my recommendations to those that are new

                          from left to right:

Ramon Allones - Specially Selected x 3 (commonly known as RASS, wouldn't try this as new smoker, but do be sure to pickup a few.......make this like your 50th cigar to try)

Partagas - Serie D No4 x 3 (again not a newbie cigar but do pick up a few ready for when you want to experience something stronger)

                          Partagas - 8-9-8 x 3

Romeo y Julieta - Churchills x 2 (Sir Winston Churchill's favorite brand and size cigar he liked to smoke)

Cohiba - Siglo IV x 3 (my personal favorite Cohiba.......however the Siglo II is a very good introduction to the Cohiba flavor profile/brand itself.......try both!

Por Larranaga - Panatelas x 3 (good every day smoke for experienced and beginners alike)

Montecristo - Media Corona x4 (This has become a regular in my humidor love it!.........not for the newbies though, powerful little stick!)

Partagas - Shorts x 4 (give it a try, great stick)

Only the boxes of 25 that come in your regular 'Dress Box' packaging, they also do a cabinet of 50 which don't come pressed

Generally always expect your cigars in dress boxes to arrive box pressed, cigars packaged like this form a natural press, because the boxes are actually to small for the quantity of cigars! The myth is that in the early days of cigar shipping, manufacturers would intentionally pack there cigars like this to prevent the cigars from moving around in transport........and from time to time you get cigars that are near enough rectangular.........naturally pressed however, there are non Cuban brands out there that purposely form there cigars into this shape to mimmick a traditional Cuban dress boxed cigar......which i personally don't like.

Many vendors wont ship out 'cabinet selections' (round) of these cigars as to keep the boxes intact and for other financial reasons. For the new guys i will say this.........get clued up on cigar packaging! its very important know how your cigars could possibly arrive, as there are many variables in packaging.

The Romeo y Julieta Churchill's could of arrived in Tubes as a round cigar........but i was sent sticks that had come from a dress box, very important to understand these things.
