Nice find McDee & Indeed I can conform vintage Macanudo are fine smokes, had several from the 70's, which were notable. Even took a couple back to Jamaica & smoked them in Montego Bay, with a bottle of Red Stripe!

Red stripe is the perfect cigar smoking brewski!

Always intrigued by the old Jamaican Macanudo. Guessing it's to smoke and not as a display piece mcdee ?

I dare say I'll smoke it at some point. The last time I had a vintage Jamaican cigar a few years ago I remember it being a pretty good smoke.

I think that they should be good to sample one. These are supposed to be really nice with 10 years on them. When I crack a box I like to smoke from it slowly over a few years, so if you smoke 2 or 3 per year the box should last you until they have 10 years on them.

I have a 2016 box of regalias untouched yet, was wondering if waiting till next year will make much difference ?

I agree Simon but HSA are known to make the wrong choices when it comes to discontinuing cigars. I have a box of the PC as well but after a chat with a friend I added a box of Regalias to my to buy list because he said that they were nice with some age.
