This arrived today when I purchased I asked for year etc but was told that singles are not kept in there boxes so I will have to guess I suppose anybody else think this has merit or is that the way it is

It's normal to keep cigars in the box they come in. Unless transferred to a humidor, in my opinion.

Some are kept in their boxes others taken out and put in shelves for display .
