Friend of the Mrs mentioned they had a tubed cigar sitting in a draw from a rum tasting in Cuba a while ago I could have if I wanted. Wasn't expecting this; in good nick aswell.

I have but I can probably source for a cheaper price and my wanted list is still very long before I get to these on it. I'm not really a huge Monte fan, only really like the Double Edmundo and Especial.

Too bad Ali. The Especial has become harder and harder to source in recent years. At least you got a free cigar out of it.

Don't I know, unfortunately found some at another vendor and passed as these were slightly cheaper and in the UK. Other source has sold theirs now.

Thought I'd snagged a box of Monte Especial, these turned up, unfortunately a mistake and no Especial left in stock. Free returns and was told to keep a cigar out the box for the mix up so didn't lose anything. Pretty dissapointed though.

Very nice addition Ali. I really love these and find that they are good to smoke once they have a couple of years on them.

Nice one. I bought my 1st every box just a few months ago and I've had 3 and they're exceptional. I'm leaving them alone for a while because the draw is a bit tight probably due to excess moisture. I'll revisit in 6 months+

They are good, I ran through a '12 box that was smoking perfectly with 2-3 years on them, couldn't leave them alone. Smoking a '14 box at the minute but I'll be tempted to dip into these and sample them once they've had a rest. What year is your box?
