Nice haul Sludgie, sure you'll enjoy both in due course. Just a thought but for all the hype & expectation, you'd have thought they could have chosen older leaf for the Talisman than the standard 2yrs.

Obviously these two only come in 10s. Good for building up variety in ones collection certainly. However, for the cigars in my regular rotation, I tend to buy cabs/boxes of 25 (50 if available) to allow them to age.

Good point Simon, it would have been a nice touch certainly. Maybe they felt that the Maduro wrapper was sufficient? It will be some time before I smoke one, so cannot yet comment!

Not the Talismans! I may buy a single stick, but I want to keep my box intact. I?m certainly curious to know how they?re smoking now. With regards to the Punch 48s, I?ll certainly try those..
The only reason to try one now would be if you were deciding whether to buy more boxes now, rather than later after the price has risen. If you're not thinking or able to buy more, best keep them until they reach their potential IMHO.
