These arrived today

Nice story: i buy quite a few boxes for myself and some friend at a shop in Canary Islands. I know the shop owner in the meantime quite well. I gave him a wishlist i think in March, he promised to contact me upon arrival.

A few months later I am back at the shop and check out what is in stock. I buy a few and for one I ask to reserve as I am not sure yet. The lady (owner was not present) puts my boxes in a closet, while she does that I notice 2 boxes that were on my list! The lady of course was not aware, so I got back the following day but the owner was away. Boxes were reserved for an English guy apparently

I wrote the owner an e-mail in my best ?Google translate? English asking what went wrong, got a decent reply and case closed for me.
3 special boxes, they have finally arrived via a friend who was there. Only 2 boxes are for me, one of the Coro?s is for a friend.

....indeed, congrats on that. I’ve been tempted to go for stuff like that, but I’ve come to terms, and won’t buy stuff I can’t smoke myself. I learned this when collecting wines, I have quite a collection of very expensive wines that I will drink myself, but since I bought price have risen to the stars, and at that price I can’t drink, so I don’t buy. I could buy to sell, but no fun in that for me.
