hey all,
just had to have one of these gold medals this evening..........BLOODY HELL!!! whoever said these were strong weren't kidding!!!

a quick overview.....the pre-light taste and aroma are quite strong, very rich tobacco!!! paired it up a havana club 7 yr old, worked magnificantly!!! anyway, i punched the cigar instead of cutting it, the first 2 thirds were very rich and strong indeed (kept some lucozade handy in case i got woozy)!!! the draw got tight at the start of the 3rd third, so i cut!!! bloody hell, it just lept UP a notch, both in smoke volume, taste, strength and aroma!!! got a bit much, so i left it down with approx 2" left, to finish later!!!

overall, a very rich and strong cigar, no wonder some folk have had whitey experiences smoking these bad boys!!!!

overall mark, i would give it around a 90, since it met all my expectations and surprised me some!!! definitely not one to smoke on an empty stomach!!! one other thing, i would recommend any wanting to try these to keep a can of coke or a sugary drink close at hand in case the woozy feeling comes!!!!
