Thanks Tommy, I bought a new Angelo Humi from Germany.
To be honest, I think it’s going back now. There some small defects within the lacquer that I’m not happy about, so will have found a decent tuppaware box for the meantime. I’m actually considering making my own, I have an old chest dating back to the mid 19th Century. I’m going to line it with cedar as a little project 😁

I’ve found the next Humi- although it may end up being sold as probably too small!
But- I’m acquiring some small cedar ones to bastardise so I can line this and get some trays in there too!

Aaaaaand....... these arrived today






I got them for £3 a stick! Thought that was pretty good. Dead stock from a Facebook vendor, I wish o bought them all, he had 138 tubes!

Nice. You should perhaps have bought them all as even if you didn't want them all they would have been good to split with others on the forum - that's kind of the idea once you have PM's 😉

It was a bit of a gamble tbh, a total stranger a long way away, so I was hoping to get these and buy the others once inspected, as all done by bacs and post...Sadly they all went in a day! 😱

I’m really pleased, it’s totally airtight, it has a very gentle push to shut fully.

All be it a bit small- I might start looking for bigger boxes now! 🤔

Nice! It's a good looking singles humidor but if you want to get into boxes you need something much bigger. Go for a 100 l tupador right away, you'll see that it will fill up in no time.
