    QUAI D'ORSAY No.50 x10

Just admitted these to the humi this afternoon. It's my first ever box so torn between keeping them for a while or smoking them.

Got some trips coming up soon so hopefully some new additions due over the next month or so. Will only be going for 10's although I really enjoyed the Epicure Especial I had the other week so could be tempted with a x25 box of those.

Primary looking at mild smokes due to an immature palate so hoping to get some HdeM Petites & Epicure No.2, Trinidad Reyes and Upmann Half Coronas + anything else anyone can recommend please?!?

First post in here so be gentle, but will hopefully be the first of many....roll on when I can access the classifieds !!!

Lovely start! As always the advice will be have a smell. If they tempt you in straight away give one a go. You can then decide about the rest.

Recommendations are always moot. Just try to get hold of a variety and see which ones you like. Try again. Go from there!

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

      Welcome. Great start!

Maybe give one a try and see how they’re smoking now, from memory I think the QdO 50’s are good young.

Thanks, agree suggestions are moot as everyone has different tastes. Think I’ll grab some singles online to taste.

I can see a larger humi being required imminently !!!

Nice choice Gav, the QdO do indeed smoke well now - wise choice to get some singles to sample now - Like others will say, try as many other marques as you can to get an idea of your preferred flavours/aromas. You can’t go wrong with Upmman Mag 46 or Juan Lopez No2 for consistent smokes IMHO

Thanks. Are the JL No2 not strong though?

Personally I don’t think they are, others may disagree - there are much stronger cigars out there than JL 2

Amazing start Gav! I smoked one of these a week or two ago. The cigar was young but still was an enjoyable light smoke 🙂👍🏻

Smoke QdO before you have something that might saturate your palate. They're quite light. The new 50 and 54s are excellent

Two more boxes of something else purchased, hopefully incoming mid-week.

Again, fairly newbie sticks but we all have to start some where.

                            Inbound today...

Couple of singles before I go box-buying:

                            Punch - Short de Punch.

Enjoyed the Punch - Punch the other week so thought I'd give these a try as a small box.

Question - any idea why the reverse is printed twice please? Have been on the Habanos Checker and all seams legit.

H.Upmann - Magnum 54 with a fairly decent age on them (for me anyway).

Lovely bouquet and ring gauge. Who wouldn't want these in their collection.

Good old fashioned Cuban quality control there.
